Modern Memeism: recognizable meme figures rebuilt with geometry, seen in GeoMetric Pepes, Pepedenza and his Opepen contributions.
Why read Batz?
Look at Batz when you want to see what an artist can change while keeping a meme recognizable. GeoMetricPepe #52 reduces the face to coloured rectangles and thick black divisions. Pepedenza #2 uses separated curved strips around an outlined face. Comparing those two works gives you a concrete example of one character surviving very different compositions.
His Opepen artist page connects that approach with the project's geometry and links Full Circle and CONSTRAINT, two sets he contributed. It is a useful route from standalone images into a collaborative NFT project. Batz is presenting art he creates and sells; these materials help you understand the visual decisions and project connections behind the work.
