Writes about digital art and collecting, interviews artists for NFTCulture and discusses long-term relationships between artists and collectors.
Why read Mal?
Mal's May 2024 thread describes a change in his collecting approach: acquiring more work from fewer artists and spending more time understanding their development. It is a useful introduction to the way he thinks about supporting creators and curating a collection.
His NFTCulture interview with Showdeer adds the artist's side. The questions cover the development of a visual style, the move into NFTs and work across digital and physical media. The site's own team page identifies Mal as a co-founder, connecting that editorial work to his X account.
