Read an X post link

Paste a public X or Twitter post link. This tool separates the post ID from the link and gives you a clean address to open. Then check what the author actually says and where the evidence comes from.

Start with the post link

Paste a post link from x.com or twitter.com. This reads the URL; it does not fetch or verify the post.

The link may have an outdated or incorrect handle. Open X to read the visible author, date, conversation and cited material. The URL alone does not establish them.

Query parameters, media suffixes and fragments have been removed. No post content was fetched.

How to read it

  1. Read the actual post

Compare the visible author, full text and date with the screenshot or summary you saw. Open replies or a quoted post when the claim depends on that context. Check for an edit notice.

  2. Name the claim

Write down what would have to be true: a measured result, an event, a prediction or the author's opinion. A repost, quotation and the author's own conclusion can make different claims.

  3. Open the supporting material

Follow the cited report, paper, project announcement, code or transaction record. Find the part that supports the claim, including its date, method and relevant version. A link to a homepage may not establish the specific point.

  4. Check what the evidence covers

For a benchmark, compare the task, model version and evaluation rule. For a crypto claim, compare the network, transaction, project and period. Decide whether the evidence supports the full claim or only part of it.

  5. Check the person's stated connection

When a claim depends on a role, affiliation or interest, follow the person's own linked site and the project's named team or announcement. A name in a URL, a badge or an explorer label does not establish that connection.

Keep the conclusion within the evidence

  • This tool reads the URL text only. It does not establish availability, authorship, publication date or the earliest version of an edited post.
  • A clean link gives you a place to continue reading. The post and its cited sources still need to be opened and assessed.
